shame. Greek. entrepo. Occurs elsewhere, Mat_21:37. Mar_12:6. Luk_18:2, Luk_18:4; Luk_20:13. 2Th_3:14. Tit_2:8. Heb_12:9, all in middle sense, meaning "to feel shame", and so "to reverence", as in the Gospels.
