hath put away. Divine forgiveness instantly follows the sinner's confession (1Jn_1:9). Compare Job_42:6, Job_42:8, Job_42:10. Isa_6:5, Isa_6:6, "then flew". Luk_15:18, Luk_15:20, "his father ran", &c.
