others beside those: i.e. beside those four. See note on Dan_8:22. That there is a break between the past and the future is manifest from Dan_10:14, of which this chapter is the continuation. Those who take verses: Dan_11:5-20 as belonging to the past do not agree as to the interpretation from history. We give the commonly held view, making the break between Dan_11:20 and Dan_11:21.
