the saints = the holy ones: i.e. God's People Israel.
the MOST HIGH. Chaldee. 'elyonin. Same as Hebrew. 'elyon. App-4. Here plural = the Messiah Himself in relation to dominion in the earth. Dan_7:27 shows that a Person is intended, not a place.
take = receive. As in Dan_5:31; Compare Dan_2:6.
