I am an ambassador. Greek. presbeuo; only here and 2Co_5:20. Ancient inscriptions show that presbeuo and presbutes (ambassador) were the terms employed in the Greek East to indicate the Emperor's Legate.
bonds = a chain. See Act_28:20. 2Ti_1:16. Compare Mar_5:3. An ambassador in a chain!
therein = in (Greek. en) it; i.e. the mystery.
speak boldly = speak freely, as in Act_26:26.
