pattern. Greek. tupos. See Joh_20:25. Here it means "model". See Exo_25:9. The Septuagint uses this word for tab'nith in Exo_25:40, whence this is quoted, but in Heb_8:9 of the same chapter uses for the same Hebrew word paradeigma, which does not occur in the N.T. Compare the verb in Heb_6:6.
