And it shall come to pass. Note the Figure of speech Anaphora, commencing verses: Isa_7:21, Isa_7:22, Isa_7:23, emphasizing the points of the prophecy.
shall nourish, &c.: i.e. no longer a land of olives and oil, but a poor pasturage. Compare Jer_39:10.
