house of Jacob. Occurs only here, and Jer_5:20, where it is "in the house of Jacob". The only other passage is Amo_3:13.
the house of Israel. The Massorah (App-30), records that this expression occurs twenty times in Jeremiah (here; Jer_2:26; Jer_3:18, Jer_3:20; Jer_5:11, Jer_5:15; Jer_9:26; Jer_10:1; Jer_11:10, Jer_11:17; Jer_13:11; Jer_18:6, Jer_18:6; Jer_23:8; Jer_31:27, Jer_31:31, Jer_31:33; Jer_33:14, Jer_33:17; Jer_48:13).
