Jeremiah. Spelled here, and in this chapter only (except Jer_27:1. Ezr_1:1. Dan_9:2), in an abbreviated form, "Yirmeyah" instead of "Yirmeyahu", as elsewhere. This may be to bring the true prophet into stronger contrast with the false "Hananeyah".
