morning = blackness, or darkness. Hebrew. shahar, A Homonym. with two meanings: (1) to be black or dark (Job_30:30). Hence put for seeking in the early morning while yet dark (Psa_78:34; Psa_78:63, Psa_78:1. Pro_1:28. Isa_26:9. Hos_5:15, &c.); (2) dawn or morning (Gen_19:15; Gen_32:24, Gen_32:26. Jos_6:15. Hos_6:3; Hos_10:15, &c.)
