dwelt = tabernacled. Occurs only here, Rev_7:15; Rev_12:12; Rev_13:6; Rev_21:3. See App-179.

the glory = glory. No Art. Note the Figure of speech Anadiplosis, App-6.



as of = exactly like.



the only begotten = an only begotten [Son]. As applied to Christ it Occurs only here, Joh_1:18; Joh_3:16, Joh_3:18; 1Jn_4:9. But it is used of an earthly relationship in Luk_7:12; Luk_8:42; Luk_9:38. Heb_11:17. Septuagint for "only One", Psa_25:16. See note there.



of = from beside: i.e. (sent) from beside. Greek. para. App-104. Not the same word as in verses: Joh_1:13, Joh_1:15, Joh_1:16, Joh_13:22, Joh_13:34, Joh_13:35, Joh_13:40, Joh_13:44, Joh_13:47.

full = abounding in.



grace and truth. A Hebraism for the sum of Divine revelation. Hebrew. chesed vehemeth. See Gen_24:27; Gen_32:10. Exo_34:6. Psa_40:10, Psa_40:11; Psa_61:7.



truth. A characteristic word of this Gospel.
