Behold. Greek. ide. App-133. Sing Addressed to the whole company. the Lamb of God. Referring to "the Lamb" spoken of in Isa_53:7, with possible reference to the approaching Passover. This was the title of our Lord for that dispensation.
Lamb. Greek amnos. Occurs only here, Joh_1:36; Act_8:32; 1Pe_1:19. See Joh_21:15, where it is arnion, which occurs in Revelation twenty-eight times of the Lord, once of the false prophet (Joh_13:11).
