comprehended it. This is direct from the Vulgate. The Greek kata is so rendered only here. It means, overcame or overpowered Him not. See 1Th_5:4 (overtake). Mar_9:18. Mar_8:3, Mar_8:4 (take); Joh_12:35 (come upon hostilely).
