A woman = The woman. The article, in conjunction with the Hebraism "in that day", verses: Joh_16:23, Joh_16:26, in. dicates the woman (wife) of Rev 12. See Isa_66:7-11. Mic_5:3. Compare Psa_22:31. Hos_13:13. Mic_4:9, Mic_4:10. The time is the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer_30:7), the birth -pangs (sorrows, Mat_24:8) which will result in the birth of the new Israel, the nation of Isa_66:8 and Mat_21:43.
