linen clothes = linen cloths or bandages. The rolls' used for swathing the bodies of the rich (Isa_53:9). The Rabbis say criminals were wrapped in old rags.



bury = entomb. Greek. entaphiazo. Only here and Mat_26:12. The noun entaphiasmos occurs in Joh_12:7 and Mar_14:8.
