the Jews' passover. After the revival under Ezra and Nehemiah corruption proceeded apace (see notes on p. 1296), and the Lord found the nation as described in Malachi. Hence, what were once "the feasts of Jehovah" are spoken of as what they had then become, "feasts of the Jews" (Joh_5:1; Joh_6:4; Joh_7:2; Joh_11:55; Joh_19:42). See note on Joh_1:19,
