This Chapter Verse Commentaries:

saddle = carriage. Occurs only here and 1Ki_4:26, where it is rendered "chariot", and Son_3:9. The seat in a palanquin. The feminine form occurs forty-four times, and is always rendered "chariot".



unclean. The Septuagint adds "until evening", as in every other case. See verses: Lev_15:5, Lev_15:6, Lev_15:7, Lev_5:8, Lev_5:10, Lev_5:11. But in these verses persons are referred to. In Lev_15:9 it is a thing.
