This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
fame = noise, or ringing in the ears. Greek echos. Not the same word as in Luk_4:14. Occurs only here, Act_2:2 and Heb_12:19. The verb echo occurs in Luk_21:25 and 1Co_13:1. A medical word (see Col_4:14).
