in = upon. Greek. epi. App-104.
bed = couch. Greek. kline; not the poor man's bed, krabbaton. Joh_5:10.
taken with a palsy = paralysed. Greek. paraluomai. Not the same word as in Luk_4:38.
Luke always uses the Verb, not the Adjective (contrast Mat_4:24; Mat_8:6. Mar_2:3-10). Compare Act_8:7. Strictly medical usage. Compare Col_4:14.
