fear = what you fear. "Fear" put by Figure of speech Metonymy (of Cause) App-6, for the calamity which produced the fear. Note the Introversion in Hebrew of "fear", "desolation", "destruction", "anguish", in verses: Pro_1:26, Pro_1:27.
