Welcome to David Cox's Sermon Library v1.0

Sermon and Articles Resources

Editor: David Cox

This is an anthology of sermons and articles from many different preachers and Bible teachers.

At least say a short prayer for me

and my ministry every time you open this
free library!

Gal_6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I am a missionary and pastor of a small church in Mexico City, Mexico. This library is a set of resources I have gathered over the years of my preparation, ministry, and personal studies going back to 1976.

I offer you this work for free. No charge. There are some conditions though, and I would ask you some favors. Please read through this page to see them.

You may not sell or resell or sell access to this work, nor to subsets or derivations of this work. What is in public domain is under the restrictions and/or freedom of public domain works. A goodly number of works in this library by modern authors have released their books but not for commercial or lucrative purposes. Just because something is here, you better not assume you can resell it, especially if the author is living, or has died after 1947-57 or so. I do not want problems from authors or copyright holders because I have included their free works in this free work and you sell my work!

I also want something from you for all my work.

According to the principle of Gal_6:1-18,

Gal_6:5 For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not deceived, God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I am a missionary and pastor, with about a third to a fourth of the income of most modern day missionaries. I work in evangelism and church planting in Mexico City, Mexico (since 1983). So I would ask some personal things of you.

Please consider making a donation (one time, monthly, or yearly) to my ministry.

As a pastor, missionary, and writer of Christian literature, my time, finances, and energies are extremely limited. This library is a product of a situation that I experienced (still am) that forced me to start and use what I have at hand with very limited resources. We have a low support level, and we are not even up to 100% of that level.

We live a truism in Christianity.

"From those who least have to give

come the greatest gifts and benefits."

In reality, if you browse the works in this library for a half hour, you will agree that there is probably $1000 to $3000 US dollars worth of books here or more. Perhaps some of them you do not like the authors or their theological persuasion.

On the other hand there are a great number of "sleepers" in here, books that you will really appreciate if you just take the time to just see what they have to offer. I have not made a lot of effort to filter this library because if I did, I would throw out 100% and leave just my own (and maybe some of my own would be thrown out too if I really meditated and studied them long enough!). You must beware anytime you grab a book in a religious library, so here is no difference.

Please consider giving a donation to my ministry for all the long hours of work which have put into this library. A gift of $1000 dollars would be well received, believe me. But something more modest but from more people would be even more helpful.

At least do the equivalent of inviting me and my family out to eat somewhere once a year. You could invite the 4 of my family to eat at McDonalds about anywhere in the world for around $5 per person, so consider sending us a $25-35 dollar donation so that we can continue with this ministry of the library at least. If you could do this once a year, or once every 6 months, it would greatly help us continue with our ministry and with this library.

Finally, if you are not of the economic status to be able to let loose $20 dollars for thousands of dollars of free books, then
at least say a short prayer for me and my ministry every time you open this library!

In Christ,

Pastor-Missionary David Cox

P.S. It would be of great help to me if you see a work listed but not included and you know where it is located on the Internet, if you would send me the URL so I can include it.
