Forever (εἰς τὸν αἰῶνα)
The only form in which αἰῶν age, life, occurs in the Gospel and Epistles of John, except ἐκ τοῦ αἰῶνος since the world began (Joh 9:32). Some old versions add, “as God abideth forever.”
