That calleth (ὁ καλῶν)
= the caller. The emphasis is on the person rather than on the act. Comp. Rom 9:11; Gal 1:6, Gal 1:15; Gal 5:8; 1Th 2:12; 1Pe 5:10; Jam 1:5.
