If God be glorified in Him
The most ancient authorities omit.
In Himself (ἐν ἑαυτῷ)
His glory will be contained in and identified with the divine glory. Compare “the glory which I had with thee,” παρὰ σοί (Joh 17:5). Ἑν in, indicates unity of being; παρά with, unity of position.
