Who it was (τιÌÏ‚ ἐστιν)
The present tense, who it is.
Had conveyed Himself away (ἐξεÌνευσεν)
The verb means, literally, to turn the head aside, in order to avoid something. Hence, generally, to retire or withdraw. Only here in the New Testament.
