This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
Let no man lead you astray (mēdeis planātō humas). Present active imperative of planaō, “let no one keep on leading you astray.” See 1Jo 1:8; 1Jo 2:26. Break the spell of any Gnostic charmer.
He that doeth righteousness (ho poiōn tēn dikaiosunēn). “He that keeps on doing (present active participle of poieō) righteousness.” For this idiom with poieō see 1Jo 1:6; 1Jo 3:4.
