Love (agapē). Not “questionings.” Rom 13:9. “Three conditions for the growth of love” (Parry): “Out of a pure heart” (ek katharas kardias, O.T. conception), “and a good conscience” (kai suneidēseōs agathēs, for which see note on Rom 2:15), “and faith unfeigned” (kai pisteōs anupokritou, late compound verbal in 2Co 6:6; Rom 12:9).
