We joyed the more exceedingly (perissoterōs mallon echarēmen). Double comparative (pleonastic use of mallon, more, with perissoterōs, more abundantly) as is common in the Koiné[28928]š (Mar 7:36; Phi 1:23).

For the joy of Titus (epi tēi charāi Titou). On the basis of (epi) the joy of Titus who was proud of the outcome of his labours in Corinth.

Hath been refreshed (anapepautai). Perfect passive indicative of anapauō. Cf. 1Co 16:18 for this striking verb.
