But I found (egō de katelabomēn). Second aorist middle of katalambanō, to lay hold of, to grasp, to comprehend as in Act 4:13; Act 10:34.

That he had committed nothing worthy of death (mēden axion auton thanatou peprachenai). Perfect active infinitive of prassō in indirect assertion with negative mē and accusative auton of general reference, the usual idiom. Act 25:25repeats the statement in Act 25:21, perhaps for the benefit of the assembled dignitaries.
