Through their faith (dia pisteōs). Here rather than pistei as so often.
Received not the promise (ouk ekomisanto tēn epaggelian). First aorist middle of komizō. The Messianic promise they did not live to see (Heb 11:13), though they had individual special promises fulfilled as already shown (Heb 11:33).
