I am come a light (Egō phōs elēlutha). As in Joh 3:19; Joh 9:5; Joh 8:12; Joh 12:35. Final clause (negative) also here (hina mē meinēi, first aorist active subjunctive) as in Joh 12:35. Light dispels darkness.
