This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
He it is that loveth me (ekeinos estin ho agapōn me). Emphatic demonstrative pronoun ekeinos: “that is the one who loves me.”
And will manifest myself unto him (kai emphanisō autōi emauton). Future active of emphanizō, old verb from emphanēs (Act 10:40; Rom 10:20). The Unseen and Risen Christ will be a real and spiritual Presence to the obedient and loving believer.
