They have both seen and hated (kai heōrakasin kai memisēkasin). Perfect active indicative of horaō and miseō, permanent attitude and responsibility. The “world” and the ecclesiastics (Sanhedrin) had united in this attitude of hostility to Christ and in reality to God.
