Therefore sent him (apesteilen oun auton). First aorist active of apostellō, not past perfect (had sent). The preliminary examination by Annas was over.
Bound (dedemenon). Perfect passive participle of deō, to bind. Jesus was bound on his arrest (Joh 18:12) and apparently unbound during the preliminary examination by Annas.
