Let these go their way (aphete toutous hupagein). Second aorist active imperative of aphiēmi. The verb hupagein means to withdraw (Joh 11:44). Jesus shows solicitude for the eleven as he had warned them and prayed for them (Luk 22:31.). He is trying to help them.
