Which stood afar off (hoi anestēsan porrōthen). The margin of Westcott and Hort reads simply estēsan. The compound read by B means “rose up,” but they stood at a distance (Lev 13:45.). The first healing of a leper (Luk 5:12-16) like this is given by Luke only.
