This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
Epileptic (selēniazetai). Literally, “moonstruck,” “lunatic.” The symptoms of epilepsy were supposed to be aggravated by the changes of the moon (cf. Mat 4:24).
He has it bad (kakōs echei) as often in the Synoptic Gospels.
