Gathered together (sunēgmena). Perfect passive participle of sunagō. In battle array.
To make war against (poiēsai polemon meta). First aorist active infinitive of poieō, to express purpose. See polemeō meta in Rev 12:7 and the use of sunagō eis polemon in Rev 16:14; Rev 20:8. The beast (for his army see Rev 16:13.) led a league of ten kings against Babylon in Rev 17:16., but with the purpose also of fighting the Lamb (Rev 17:14).
