For I delight in (sunēdomai gar). Old verb, here alone in N.T., with associative instrumental case, “I rejoice with the law of God,” my real self “after the inward man” (kata ton esō anthrōpon) of the conscience as opposed to “the outward man” (2Co 4:16; Eph 3:16).
