This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
He that (hos ge). “Who as much as this” (ge here magnifying the deed, intensive particle).
Spared not (ouk epheisato). First aorist middle of pheidomai, old verb used about the offering of Isaac in Gen 22:16. See note on Act 20:29.
Also with him (kai sun autōi). The gift of “his own son” is the promise and the pledge of the all things for good of Rom 8:28. Christ is all and carries all with him.
