1Co 11:25. Μετὰ τὸ δειπνῆσαι, after supper) Therefore you, Corinthians, ought to separate common meals from the Lord’s Supper.-ὁσάκις, as often as) As often as is not a command, but it is implied that we should often eat and drink.-πίνητε, you may drink) this cup, 1Co 11:26.-εἰς τὴν ἐμὴν ἀνάμνησιν, in remembrance of me) This is presupposed by Matthew and Mark. Luke uses it once, Paul twice, because it is very suitable to his purpose. The old sacrifices were useful in bringing sins to remembrance, Heb 10:3; the sacrifice of the body of Christ, accomplished once for all, is revived by the remembrance of forgiveness.
