1Pe 4:3. Ἀρκετὸς, sufficeth) A lowering of expression [MEIOSIS. See Append.]: for not even ought the past times to have been wasted in sins. At the same time a loathing of sin is expressed on the part of those who repent.-κατεργάσασθαι, to have wrought) namely, for you[36] to have wrought. This is shortly afterwards explained.-πεπορευμένους, when ye walked) advanced madly.
