Act 1:8. Ἀλλὰ, but) The antithesis is between that which was the part of the disciples, or was not: as also between that which was about to be at that time, and that which was reserved for farther off times.-μάρτυρες, witnesses) by your teaching, and by shedding your blood as martyrs: it is not said.
