Act 15:4. Ἀπεδέχθησαν, they were received) in due form.-ἐκκλησίας, the Church) The Church is placed before Peter and the rest of the apostles themselves.-ἀνήγγειλαν, they reported) Jerusalem, whilst the apostles remained there, was the metropolis of the churches, and to it all questions were to be referred: Act 15:33.
