Act 6:12. Συνεκίνησαν, they stirred up) Κινεῖσθαι, to be moved or stirred up, is especially said of that which is not moved by reason: ch. Act 21:30.-τὸν λαὸν, the people) which was powerful by reason of its numbers.-τοὺς πρεσβυτέρους, the elders) who were powerful in authority.-τοὺς γραμματεῖς, the scribes) who were powerful in learning.
