Eph 1:7. Ἔχομεν, we have) in the present.-τὴν ἀπολύτρωσιν-τὴν ἄφεσιν, redemption-forgiveness) The peculiar benefit derived from the New Testament; Rom 3:24. Comp. ch. Eph 3:8, where we have the riches of grace, and consequently of glory; likewise in Eph 1:16, where the exceedingly rich glory of the Father Himself is understood.
