Eph 4:31. Πικρία, bitterness) Its opposite is in Eph 4:32, χρηστοὶ, kind to all.-θυμὸς, harshness, cruelty [sævitia]) Its opposite is merciful, viz., to the weak and the miserable.-καὶ ὀργὴ, and anger) Its opposite is forgiving, viz., towards those who injure us. Thus far the climax descends, in reference to things forbidden.-βλασφημια, blasphemy) [evil-speaking] an outrageous (heinous) species of clamour. Love takes away both.-κακίᾳ) wickedness.
