Jam 1:12. Μακάριος, blessed) μακάριος is derived from μὴ, and κὴρ, “immortal.” This word, and the crown of life, are opposed to the word μαρανθήσεται, “shall fade away.”-ὑπομενεῖ, shall endure) See Jam 1:3-4; 1Pe 2:20.
