Joh 4:26. Λέγει, saith) He hastened to say the whole before the coming of His disciples. John did not hear the conversation. But afterwards, at the dictation of the Spirit, he wrote it out, ch. Joh 14:26, “The Comforter, the Holy Ghost, shall teach you all things and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.”-ἐγώ, I) Nowhere did He speak of Himself more directly, even to the disciples themselves.
