Luk 13:29. Ἥξουσιν, they shall come) Here there is not added many, [as there is in Luk 13:24 and Mat 8:11. It is a rather stern reply to the question proposed, inasmuch as the question was one easily liable to abuse.-V. g.]-ἀπὸ ἀνατολῶν καὶ δυσμῶν καὶ βοῤῥᾶ καὶ νότου, from the East and West and North and South) It was almost in this order that the several peoples were converted to the faith. It is especially in the South that as yet the Gospel has to be preached.
